Pupils of Sobiba primary school in the Saboba District in the Northern Region are being forced to study on bare floor due to lack of furniture.
Speaking to Savanna Dairies’ David Takal, some teachers and students expressed worry over the situation which has gravely affected teaching and learning process in the school.
The Assembly member for the area, complained bitterly about the inability of government to provide the school with furniture to facilitate teaching and learning.
Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), together with the staff of the school are appealing to the government, stakeholders and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), faith-based oraganisations (FBOs) and community-based organisations (CBOs) to come to there aid.
